From a warm MO,
This has been a comfortable day - at least so far.
We arrived back from Maryville a little before 10:00 last night. The kids did quite well inspite of the terrible wind. Distant lightning was just beginning as we headed home.
We awakened with Jim's alarm this a.m. - girls must be recovering from their shots yesterday as it was sort of scary awakening to an alarm rather than to them. Trixie is a little tender in one hip today, but Abby seems oblivious to the shots of yesterday a.m.
Jim joined his first breakfast group (Gene Whitmer ended up having a three way bypass if Jim heard correctly) and then went to the high school to see Phil. He was out of there quick enough that he then joined the second group. In the meantime, I had headed to HyVee (with the girls in the backseat) to have breakfast. I had just gotten seated when Pat showed up.
We were supposed to have an adjuster here today from our insurance company - sometime between 10:00 and 2:00 - and it is now after 3:00 with no one having shown up. We have taken turns being at home, but I am ready to get out and do some errands now. I only have two or three quick things to do, but it will cut back on the list for Thursday.
Supper will be leftovers tonight - with probably most of what is not eaten will go into the garbage as we have pick-up tomorrow and a few items are several days old.
I join the ladies for breakfast in the a.m. and then we have a home track meet at I'm thinking 2:00 - as school is getting out early for spring break. I think it is rather interesting that Congress can go on Easter break, but schools go on spring break - hmmmm-- oh, well
Clara should be joining us for breakfast in the a.m. as they were to return from Florida this past weekend - went to Florida in January.
Be safe.
