Mon. Aug. 7

From not quite as hot MO,

This has been a rather active day. We had sort of a storm during the night. We had very little moisture, but when I took the girls out at 12:30 and again at 4:30 - the northern sky was having quite a lightning show.

Jim had rehab this a.m. and I headed to the RSVP office to do computer work for Mobile Meals. Ruth Benson arrived - thankgoodness - and she reconciled the checkbook with the bank statement, xeroxed, and helped collate the finished labels. She is so efficient and such a dear. Even with her there, I puttered for close to two hours. The main issue was the so called new printer and it was choosing to be stubborn today. Oh, well --

When both of us finally got back home, rested a little while, we headed to WalMart to do a perimeter walk. Jim had a good exercise at rehab, but enjoys the stroll around WalMart.

We dozed this afternoon and we have spent the rest of the time reading. I need to water tonight as I didn't last night - hoping it would rain - so veggies and flowers need moisture.

We are hoping to do a surface street walk tomorrow - maybe incorporate it as we go to vote - and then have nothing special planned. There are plenty of things we could do around here as we need to unload the pile of Canada fishing items that are in the computer room - and get them back into their proper place.

Be safe.
B.
