Sat. & Sun. Sept 9 & 10

From a comfortable MO,

We came up a little short in the football game on Friday evening. It was a beautiful evening to be sitting outside - just needed a few more points!

We had some rain early on Saturday a.m., but we still strolled through the annual Chautauqua. The sprinkles didn't seem to stop the crowd and sure helped the temperature. Afterwards, we did a few errands and then retreated home to watch football games and to enjoy the girls. We watched some of the MU game and I went to bed at halftime of the Texas game, but Jim managed to stay awake one more quarter.

We decided this a.m. to walk to the Chautauqua again. There wasn't much of a crowd this a.m., but I am sure it picked up after the various church services. We found a couple of Christmas gifts yesterday and another couple this morning.

We watched some of the KC Chief's game today - then retreated to the bedroom for a nap. Jim has the Manning brothers programmed to watch later today.

Jim will be at a lost on Monday a.m. as he doesn't have rehab, but I will be going to the RSVP office to watch Ron Wilder do the computer work for Mobile Meals again. He will be fine in doing it. Beyond this we have the day open.

Be safe.
B.
