From a bitterly cold and snowy MO,
This has been a day to stay indoors if at all possible. I think it was about -4 when we began sort of moving this a.m. with the windchill about ten degrees below that. The wind was from the south - can't imagine how bad it would have been had it been from the north.
We slept in this a.m. - almost 9:00 when we awakened. After getting dressed, we headed to the Y to walk - actually was surprised at how many were there. After returning home and cleaning up, we headed to the doctor's office as Jim had an appointment - no problems were pointed out. We then headed to the SteakHouse for lunch, then home to get some items to be able to do some errands, and finally retreated to the house.
Abby is now asleep with her head nestled on my left arm - makes for tricky typing. She would skip eating for the chance to be cuddled on a lap.
We are getting some light snow this evening - I think the prediction is one or two inches. The good news is that the daytime temps next week should be in the 40s and 50s - and I am ready for that - also the night lows are to be in the 20s - that will almost seem like spring break!
We have no particular errands for Saturday, but I do need to spend some time with IRS data and should run the vacuum cleaner. We were hoping they would add the Texas basketball game to the tv schedule, but so far that has not been done.
Be safe.
