Fri. & Sat. Dec. 8 & 9

From what has been a sunny MO,

Friday was quite active for us. Jim joined the second breakfast group and I headed to HyVee to have a quick breakfast and then leave with Pat Nichols for an outing to St. Joseph. We really didn't spend a long time anywhere - Tuesday Morning, Borders, Hobby Lobby, Penney's - and then returned home. We did make a quick trip downtown to locate a glass fusing place, but they are in the process of moving to this place. We did sign up for any forthcoming classes.

Jim and I left here about 6:00 to go to the high school to watch a basketball game with Excelsior Springs. David Garrison looks good as ever and afterwards we saw Donnie Jackson with David and Katie's younger child - a darling daughter.

We slept well last night and took off on some minor errands this morning - along with the girls. I fixed some chicken to convert to a chicken salad and also cut up the Mexican roll-ups that I had made yesterday.

We dozed much of the afternoon and will soon be leaving to go to the Ross home for an evening with long time friends.

We don't have much on the agenda for Sunday other than rest, enjoying the newspapers, and spending quality time with the girls. Abby is now stretched out across my lap and has her head nestled on my left elbow - as I try to type.

Be safe.
B.
