From a cold, sleeting MO,
We are still in an area that is supposed to get a ice storm so we will just see what happens. The sleet is hitting the north windows now with the outside temp close to freezing. The temp. has gone down all day from an almost comfortable morning temp.
Jim joined the old fogies for breakfast this a.m. and then stayed around to join the second group. I finally was rousted from bed by the girls about 9:00. After showering, I tucked them into their crate in the back seat of the car and we took off on several errands. Jim was home when we returned and he shifted the girls to the crate in the truck - and the four of us took off on errands.
I joined Clara, Jan, and Sandy at Francine's for lunch today. Craig and Maurine Erwin were also there as well as many others. I hadn't been there since the Boji and Piece of Cake opened so it was really good to see that she hadn't been deserted. Afterwards we headed to the store that resembled the old L&O sales - can't remember the name. Jan and Clara hadn't been there before so we had a good time looking around.
Jim has read and dozed this afternoon and I began puttering with Christmas cards. I try to do a few each day and will eventually get them done.
Jim wanted chili this evening so we are thawing a quart that we had frozen about a month ago. This is fine with me.
I hope to be able to join the ladies for breakfast in the a.m. - we'll just see what morning brings. Beyond that, I need to putter with Christmas cards and of course the house can always use some cleaning.
Be safe.
