Sun & Mon. Nov. 26 and 27
From a dampish, cool MO,
We have had two full days. We joined Doug and Dara for breakfast on Sunday, returned to our motel room for packing, and then joined them for a production at the Zachary Scott theater - am thinking it was called Plaid Tidings.
Upon returning we departed for Denton - thinking we would be in Denton by 9:30, but instead the traffic south of Waco was almost stalled and we didn't get to Denton until 11:00. We did this as we had wanted to drive to Chillicothe on Monday (about a 13 and one/half hour drive for us) and thought it would be nice to have three and one/half hours already finished. I am not sure it was holiday traffic as all of a sudden it disappeared when we reached Waco and we were soon back to the regular speed limit.
We left Denton (with Ruth) about 8:45 this a.m. and we were in Chillicothe about 6:45. We had very little traffic and even with a few sessions with very light rain - the drive was great.
We are basically unpacked now and I am ready to collapse in bed. We have some errands to do in the a.m. - am hoping to walk as well - and then will pick up the girls about 11:00.
Be safe.

Actually, there was a wreck that morning, and that afternoon, as they were cleaning up, a crane broke, causing more congestion: http://www.news8austin.com/content/your_news/default.asp?ArID=175528
